Pakistani Instagram Star Mathira Viral Video: It seems like the list of stars falling victim to major cyber safety and security breaches in the worst way possible is simply lengthening day by day, as by now, multiple actors and influencers ended up finding themselves in such matters over the span of just one month. Yes, believe it or not, but several private videos of known names in Pakistan were reduced to mere ‘jokes’, as they created ugly controversies. TikTok star Minahil Malik, actress Rida Isfahani, influencer Imsha Rehman, Indonesian e-sports star Lydia Onic, and more were some of the names who dominated headlines over such private video leak controversy. Adding to the list, another influencer- Mathira- found herself in the eye of the storm after an alleged X-rated clip of her leaked online.
Mathira, who reportedly is also known as Mathira Mohammad, was born in Zimbabwe. However, Mathira moved to Pakistan following Zimbabwe’s ‘political unrest’ as per reports. The influencer is a mega Instagram star, who has a massive following on the said platform. The influencer got married in 2012 but got divorced in 2018.
As soon as Mathira’s alleged video leaked online, she took to her social media handle and switched to her ‘damage control mode’. Asking fans to ‘have some shame’, the influencer claimed that the MMS leak was a fake and was photoshopped.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘IamMathira’. The post was captioned, “People are using my name and my photoshoot pictures and adding fake stuff in please have shame! Keep me out of this trashy nonsense.” The post was shared a few days ago and pulled 2K views from people.

Keep me out of this trashy nonsence ..
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “There is nothing wrong if these are real and we support you and we expect more from you,” a user said. “Just ignore dear,” added a second person. “No excuses are accepted. The pictures are yours. When, why, who, how, old, no question does not arise. So many are doing the same these days,” wrote another.
A few days ago, two Pakistani influencers, Minahil Malik and Imsha Rehman, ended up leaving social media after facing major backlash over the matter. “It was not easy for me but I’m done. It’s hard to say goodbye. No fights. Spread love. I’m leaving. I will miss you. I love you. Take care,” read a post by Malik.
