Viral Video: Comfort and peace are not exactly the terms that come to mind when thinking about travelling in the ever-famous Mumbai local trains. In fact, it's the opposite of both the terms that often leaves people ‘anxious’ over the very thought of even a single ride of the Mumbai local. Social media is full of instances and videos where a ‘deathly rush’ was seen inside Mumbai local trains, which has only hampered the image of the said public transport. Adding another to the list, a video came forward, where people boarding and deboarding vigorously on a Mumbai local train was shared online. The clip looked stressful enough that it left netizens sympathising with the passengers involved and Mumbaikars in general.

The video turned further ugly when one of the passengers lost his balance and fell down at the station due to the brutal crowd pushing. The clip went viral and drew a major reaction. The date and the exact location of the matter could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Spirit of Mumbai Kinda Kalesh.”

The video was shared today and pulled 63K views from people. Most netizens sympathised with the man that fell down, while the rest called such a crowd and hassles an everyday thing for passengers travelling through the Mumbai local train.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I feel you just have to stand there and you will automatically reach your destination,” a user said. “This is mostly an everyday story. It's more of paapi pet ka sawal than the spirit to endure all this,” added a second person. “This is the new normal there in the local train,” added a third person.

“Spirit of Mumbai or High on spirit in Mumbai,” added another. “The frustrated employee of the year,” commented a fifth user. “Life of Middle-class Mumbaikars,” joined a sixth person. “Proof of what happens, when your country's Population is more than what it is supposed to be in the first place,” added a seventh user.
