'Preeti, Kahan Ho Tum': Comedian’s Post About Air India Crew Member Melts Hearts And Sparks Hunt For Preeti

Aditi Mittal Viral Video: Diwali got a little more emotional this year after comedian Aditi Mittal shared a heartfelt story that touched thousands online. Her video wasn’t about laughter or jokes this time, it was about kindness, compassion and a flight attendant named Preeti who helped her through one of the hardest days of her life.

Back in 2017, Aditi was flying from London to Mumbai after losing her father. She recalled how broken she felt on that flight, until a stranger quietly stepped in. The Air India flight attendant, Preeti, noticed her pain and kept checking on her. “It was very obvious from my face that I was upset,” Aditi said. “This air hostess, Preeti, kept offering me warm water, tea, lemonade without me asking. Later she said, ‘If it makes your heart lighter, tell me one funny story about him each time I pass by.’”

Those simple words became something unforgettable for Aditi. Wanting to share more about her dad, she began writing down all the funny stories she remembered about him in a notebook during the flight. That small act turned into something deeply healing. “Now I have a written record of my dad’s goofiest moments,” she shared. “Wherever you are, Preeti, I hope you’re having the best Diwali in the world.”

Aditi also admitted that the incident completely changed the way she looks at flight attendants. She said, “I swear to God, ‘air hostess’ is such a non-descript way of describing all the work they do in the sky in a pressurised cabin. "We need to rename air hostesses to something grander, that actually reflects the amount of work they do,” she captioned the post.

Her emotional post quickly went viral, with people flooding the comments section with their experiences. "Preeti was a better therapist than most I’ve come across," a user wrote.
