Pune Man Viral Post: Imagine working in a big tech company, giving your best every day, and then being left with no money, no support, and nowhere to go. That’s exactly what seems to have happened to a man in Pune, and his story is now going viral on social media. A shocking photo, shared on X (Formerly Twitter), shows the man sleeping on a footpath outside his office, wrapped in a sleeping bag. Beside him, a handwritten letter taped to a wall explains his situation. The note claims that he hasn’t received his salary and has been living on the streets since “July 29, 2025.”

The letter says that despite reaching out to the company’s HR, there was no help. “HR did not respond and kept quiet,” it reads. With no money left for rent or food, the man chose to sleep right outside the office building in protest. While some parts of the note were hard to read, the message was loud and clear; the employee felt completely abandoned.

This heartbreaking post has left many netizens angry and upset. Several people called for legal action and asked the Labour Ministry to step in. Others criticised the unhealthy work culture in some big companies, where employees are expected to give everything but often get very little support in return. The post shared yesterday garnered 571k views from online users.

"This is terrible. They want employees to work 70+ hours a week but can't pay salaries on time," a user wrote. "This is so sad. Generally, these IT companies are very organised and such instances are very rare," a second user added. "A company worth billions, and yet a hardworking employee has to sleep outside its gate for his own salary. This is not just a delay; it is sheer injustice. If this can happen in TCS, what hope is left for smaller firms?" added a third user.

"Incidents like this really make us question how secure we are in our jobs. Paying salaries on time is the bare minimum; it’s about dignity. Big companies must prioritize employee welfare, not just profits," a fourth user added. "This is outrageous — they expect employees to put in over 70 hours a week, yet they can’t even manage to pay salaries on time," wrote another user.
