Viral Video: The simple task of following traffic rules might be ‘rocket science’ for half the commuters, but for a cow in Pune, traffic rules are pretty much a ‘priority’ it seems. A video is going viral on social media, where the said cow was seen standing still, along with the rest of the vehicles, at a red traffic signal. The incident surely must have been a coincidence, but the Pune Police regardless used it as a hilarious example to laud the cow for ‘following traffic rules’. The police’s witty take on the matter drew a variety of reactions from people.

The date of the incident could not be confirmed. The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Pune City Police’. The post was captioned, “Attention ‘Guys’. Don't moo-ve forward on a red light!”

The video was shared yesterday and pulled more than 1K views from people. Most people found the example funny and pulled jokes on the same, while the rest expressed concerns over the presence of a cow on the road, calling it risky for the animal.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Because she can't even write an essay,” a user said. “This is cute and awesome but why is there a cow on the road? Isn't it a safety hazard?” commented a second person. “Cow is following rules but not punekar,” commented a third user.

“Excellent! Cows here have more sense than us Punekars. I feel that Pune traffic police should change the colours. Red of course Go, Green also Go, Yellow ALWAYS Go,” added a fourth person. “The cow is waiting before the zebra crossing, while others are on the crossing. Why do we call the cow an animal and not the others?” added another.
