Gone are the days when buying products like sanitary pads and condoms was a task in itself. It’s 2024 and the world is much more aware and accepting, especially of things that are simply related to how a human body works. However, despite all the openness, it sure is not necessary for people to ‘declare’ when, where, and why they are buying such products. It is a question of privacy, after all. However, it seems like this man’s privacy failed to remain private in one of the most hilarious manners after he decided to order a packet of condoms from Swiggy Instamart at his office. Taking to his social media handle, the man clarified that he expected the online delivery app to deliver the package in a brown bag, which would have helped in concealing the nature of the product. However, the condoms arrived in a clear packing, which was dropped off at the office’s front desk.
The man expressed his embarrassment over the fact that the delivery potentially gave a hint to everyone about how the man ordered condoms at his workplace. The exact date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.
The Swiggy post began to circulate on social media right after being shared. Most people found the incident hilarious and further joked about it, while the rest suggested ways to ‘defuse’ the incident and handle the situation.
The post was shared on Reddit, by the handle ‘manan-singh’. The post was captioned, “Swiggy Instamart Ruined Me!” The post’s description read, “Buying condoms isn’t a big deal, but I usually order them from Blinkit because they send them in a discreet brown package. This time, I decided to try Swiggy Instamart while I was at the office, assuming they’d use the same kind of packaging. Like an idiot, I told them to drop it off at the office reception desk. To my horror, the package was left there in plain view, right in front of the receptionist. Now, the entire office probably thinks I do seggs at work!” The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 9K upvotes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Well, the pen*s mightier than a sword!” a user said. “Ab jitna sochega utna odd lagega (Now the more you think of it, the more you will feel odd about the entire thing). Just send an email to the DL with the subject line – Condoms at my desk, please help yourself,” joked a second person.
“Just distribute each one of them at your office, like we used to do during our school times- with toffees. Tell them that you are raising sexual health awareness,” added another person. “Reminds me of that one scene from PK lmao,” added a fourth person. “Damn, I laughed hard then it really made sense. Great idea!” added another.
