Netizens were quick to notice the camera repeatedly zooming in on one of the spectators at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai- Sara Tendulkar.

Sara, daughter of the man who is considered the ‘God ’ of cricket- Sachin Tendulkar- made headlines after she and Gill were rumoured to be dating on social media. Amid all the gossip and the constant zoom-ins, netizens grabbed the opportunity and began to share memes and jokes about the duo on the internet. 

Taking to the internet, netizens began to share videos and their reactions to the zoomed-in shots of Tendulkar, as she cheered for Gill’s performance. Many found the clips adorable, while others shared their strong assumptions over the two ‘dating’.

The 13th edition of the World Cup is being hosted in India, where the final match will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat. Currently, the country is playing against New Zealand in the first semi-final match of this year’s World Cup, whereas the 2nd game will be played between South Africa and Australia at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Sara’s X (formerly Twitter) post for Gill further fanned the dating rumours which has been brewing among the fans. “Expecting a Century from you #ShubmanGill,” read her post.
