As the video spread online, Instagram influencer Sweet Zannat found herself dragged into the controversy. Many users wrongly claimed that she was the girl seen in the viral video. Soon, her comment section was flooded with '19 minutes' messages. To clear the air, Zannat posted a video and clearly said that she has no connection with the 19-minute MMS and is being targeted without any reason.

Is It Real Or AI Video?

Some people believe that the video is real and the couple leaked it themselves for attention. Others think it was leaked by hotel staff. There are also doubts that the video could be AI-generated. However, no official confirmation has been given so far. Meanwhile, some social media users have started targeting random girls, falsely accusing them of being part of the video and posting hateful comments.

What Happens If You Share The 19-Minute MMS?

Sharing this video is a serious crime under Indian law. Anyone who downloads or posts such content can face heavy punishment.

1. If found guilty under Section 67 of the IT Act, a person can get up to 3 years in jail and a fine of Rs 5 lakh for the first offence.

2. A second offence can lead to 5 years of jail time.

3. Under Section 67A, sharing explicit content can lead to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to Rs 10 lakh for the first time.

4. A repeat offence can increase jail time to 7 years.

5. It is also a crime under IPC Sections 292, 293, and 354C.

Fake Suicide Story Added To The MMS Rumour:

Things became even more disturbing when another video started circulating. It showed a woman’s body on the ground, with people claiming that she died by suicide after being shamed due to the MMS leak. After fact-checking, it was confirmed that both videos are completely different. The woman in the death video has no link to the viral MMS. Instagram users wrongly connected the two incidents and made the situation misleading.
