Displaying an act of remarkable courage and bravery, a woman in Telangana fiercely fought back against a thief who attacked her during an attempted robbery. The incident took place on August 13 in Vemulawada’s Rajanna Sircilla district. The whole matter came to light after a CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on social media, which soon went viral.

The 40-year-old woman, who reportedly lives alone, came out of her house to find the reason behind her dog's loud barks. The woman was unaware of the masked thief, who was hiding in the corner. As soon as the woman spotted the robber, he jumped on her and attacked her with an iron rod, but the woman luckily dodged it. The 40-year-old tried to run inside her house but to no avail, as the thief grabbed her. The owner then started shouting to alarm her neighbours and started fighting back. At one point, the thief also tried to shut her up, but she soon gained the upper hand. With a rod in her hand, the woman then started chasing the thief, who fled the scene.

The video went viral and the woman is being hailed for her bravery and quick response. However, she later informed the police that the thief was able to snatch a 7-gram gold chain from her. Reportedly, the 40-year-old owns a grocery shop. The woman has also filed a complaint over the incident, and the matter is being investigated.
