As a series of videos of Indian national Anju living her life in Pakistan continues to flood the internet, another video of her celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day came forward on social media. The video of the 34-year-old woman cutting a cake while celebrating Pakistan’s big day was shared on social media site X (formerly Twitter). Anju has been making headlines over her cross-border love story ever since she reached Pakistan.

The video was shared by X user ‘Shakti Ojha'. The post was captioned in Hindi that roughly translated to, "Anju, who reached Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to marry her Facebook friend Nasrullah, participated in the independence celebration there on Saturday. Anju along with Nasrullah also cut the cake of Pakistan's Yom-e-Azadi (Independence Day) here."

The video showed Anju along with her new husband, cutting a cake during a celebration that also had a few more people. The room was decorated with Pakistan's national flag and the people were seen singing and clapping as the cake was cut.

Anju's case came to light when the woman reached Pakistan to meet her 29-year-old lover, whom she met on the social media platform Facebook. Anju, who is married to Indian husband Arvind, is a mother of two. The woman reportedly married Nasrullah after reaching Pakistan and converted into Fatima, after accepting Islam as her religion.

According to the family, Anju left her home on the pretext of leaving for Jaipur but left for Pakistan instead. The family received the information of her reaching Pakistan through the media reports. Her father, on the other hand, has already disowned her for her actions.

The series of videos on the newlywed couple started when the video of their pre-wedding shoot, shot in Pakistan, surfaced on the internet. Since the first video, many videos on the woman have been shared on social media.
