Thai Restaurant Viral Video: A restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is under fire after launching a unique and controversial discount offer based on customers' body size. The eatery, known as Chiang Mai Breakfast World, recently introduced what it calls the "Squeeze Challenge," where diners can earn discounts by slipping through narrow metal bars installed at the entrance.

The challenge has five levels, with each level featuring bars placed closer together than the last. If customers can pass through the wider gaps, they can score a 5% or 10% discount. Manage to squeeze through the tightest set? That gets you a full 20% off your meal. But those who can't make it through any of the bars are met with a cheeky sign that says, "Full price, sorry."

The videos of customers attempting the challenge have gone viral. While some users found the idea amusing and light-hearted, many others slammed the restaurant for promoting unrealistic body standards.

One user joked, “If you need a discount in Thailand for food, you’re definitely eating at the wrong place.” Another wrote, “I’d rather eat somewhere else than play this silly game. No thanks!” A third user shared a more serious view: “I have a medium, muscular body. I can’t get smaller, and that’s different from being skinny. Whether someone is healthy or not doesn’t depend on size. We should respect all body types." Another added, “Why would anyone even want a discount in Thailand? The food is so cheap—it’s like the price of a bus ticket or even less!”
