Indian Railways Viral Video: Bringing forward the issue of ticketless passengers occupying reserved seats yet again, a video was shared on social media, where a woman created chaos over a seat on the Indian Railways’ train. The woman in question was seemingly a ticketless passenger, who downright refused to leave the reserved seat that belonged to another passenger. A heated argument erupted over the same, gaining the attention of other passengers. What was even more triggering for some netizens, was that the ticketless woman was heard asking the other woman to ‘adjust’. It goes without saying that the clip left most people angry after it went viral on the internet.
The date and the exact location of the incident could not be confirmed. The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w 2 woman inside Indian railways over seat.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 694K views from people.

The video went viral and received a whole lot of reactions from people. Most chastised the woman in green and suggested calling the authorities on her, while the rest opened up about the increasing issue of ticketless passengers taking seats over.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “RAC is the biggest scam in railways. Our system’s fault for allowing such things to happen. The green lady must thrown out of the train,” a user said. “Pull the chain, stop the train, call the authorities, throw such ticketless people out of the train. Simple,” added a second person.
“These people have spoilt our minds, pay money to get a seat and these people forcefully sit on it and don't move,” added a third user. “It is time to have conductors in each compartment, or at least for 3 or 4 compartments. It is quite common to see opportunists like the lady in green occupying reserved seats, and asking others to 'adjust'. Do people occupy different seats or berths in buses or aeroplanes?” added another.
