Viral Video: Too much love…Partner refusing to touch feet…went to the office without breakfast because of ‘lack of cooking skills’… wore vulgar outfits on honeymoon…these random situations are NOT some senseless reasons for a petty argument, but are ‘fully-functional’ reasons why some Indian couples filed for divorce. Yes, take your time and let that sink in because apparently, this is what marriage looks like to some- a contractual bond without love. No, this is not just a statement by us but is also the ‘conclusion’ by countless netizens who came across the video revealing the same.
The said video is now going viral, where a lawyer revealed some bizarre reason behind why some couples filed for a divorce. Each of the reasons mentioned in the clip effortlessly left people shocked and at a loss for words. And understandably so, because they sure sounded like a joke at first, but unfortunately enough, each one of them was a bit too real a situation to deal with.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the user ‘yourinstalawyer’. The post was captioned, “Matlab Shaadi hi kyun karna hai (Why are people even getting married).”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most people expressed their shock over some of the most unreasonable reasons behind people filing for divorce, while some cracked jokes on the same. Many simply called such marriages a bond without love. The post was shared a while back and pulled 156K likes from netizens.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Husband gives too much attention and doesn't fight,” a user said. “When love isn't the reason you married,” said the next. "Husband gives too much attention and love and doesn't fight at all for the most stupidest reason ever,” commented a third person. “Some men don't want a wife, they want a maid,” said another.
“People want weddings, not marriage these days,” said a fifth person. “Leave everything aside, wife wearing vulgar clothes on honeymoon. I mean what was she supposed to wear??” said a sixth.
“The one who wants divorce cuz his wife isn’t touching his feet.. that’s a huge favor he’d be doing his wife.. pls divorce her and let her live with someone sensible and not a dumbf**** like you. Some people are better being divorced rather than ruining someone’s life!” said another.
