Top 10 Slowest Animals In World: From fastest to cutest and from dangerous to venomous, one might fall short of categories, but can never fall short of naming the number of animals that band together to form the extremely diversified animal kingdom that we currently have. So, diving deep into the same ‘pool’ once again, we thought to take a look at the slowest animals this time. So we found some of the slowest animals in the world for you so that you can take a look at them. The list was compiled by ‘trvst.world’.
Here are the top 10 slowest animals in the world:
Giant Galapagos Tortoise
On the top spot, we have an animal that is not only the slowest, but is also one of the oldest species and lives for more than 100 years; the Giant Galapagos Tortoise. These beauties are the slowest animals in the world.
Banana Slug
Next on the list might be the prettiest among them all. The Banana Slug is the second slowest animal in the world and looks beautiful. As the name suggests, the animal is yellow in color and resembles an unrealistically ‘breathtaking banana’, if that was ever a thing.
Slow Loris
The third slowest animal in the world even has the word ‘slow’ in its name; Slow Loris. These cute-looking animals do not grow much in size and look like Disney movie characters.
Garden Snail
No list is complete without some kind of snail if ‘slowest animals’ are being talked about. The fourth slowest animal on the list is the Garden Snail.
Three-toed Sloth
Another cute animal on the list that can win anyone over with their charm and is also slow, is the Three-toed Sloth. These beauties are the fifth slowest animals in the world.
Koala
Coming to the sixth animal on the list, the Koala is next in line when it comes to the slowest animals in the world. Seems like the list is full of some of the most beautiful animals as well.
Gila Monster
On the seventh spot, we have the Gila Monster. People usually tend to run away from them as soon as possible. However, these reptiles are actually quite slow, yet dangerous.
Sea Anemone
The next on the list is an aquatic animal. The Sea Anemone is the eighth slowest animal in the world.
Starfish
On the ninth spot, we have another aquatic animal that is loved by many, as far as watching it from afar is concerned; a Starfish.
