Viral Video: A Bangkok to London flight turned into a nightmare for the passengers and the cabin crew after a man switched to ‘beast mode’ and began to assault people. The 35-year-old Brit, first broke the toilet door onboard the flight and then punched a cabin crew member after getting caught. The said incident reportedly took place on February 07 onboard a Thai Airways plane. Meanwhile, the flight was flying to Heathrow.

A video of the entire incident was shared online, which went viral and left most people confused. Reportedly, the ‘madman’ was arrested as soon as the flight landed in London, whereas the reason behind his behaviour in the toilet has still not been revealed.

On the other hand, the woman who recorded the entire incident opened up about the matter. “He was in the toilet and he started screaming and shouting. He started smashing the door and it came away from the hinges,” the woman was quoted saying to Metro UK. “An older guy – in the white t-shirt – tried to get him out. A fight broke out and he ended up smacking the flight attendant. I think he broke his nose,” she further quoted.

The flight, as per reports, was also almost diverted to Dubai if the man had not been brought under control. “Two passengers sat either side of him and kept pulling him down. We had to put up with his shouting. He was being very verbally abusive,” the woman was quoted as saying to Metro UK. 

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘thaimythbuster’. The post was captioned, “A 35yo unruly British man was arrested after his flight from Bangkok to London Heathrow landed following a cowardly attack on a Thai Airways member of staff. The man went berserk minutes after the flight took off on Feb 7 and proceeded to smash up the aircraft’s toilet.”

The video went viral and left people assuming the reason behind the man’s actions. Some also called him a ‘nuisance’. Meanwhile, others expressed their concerns for the flight attendant who was punched. The post was shared four days ago and pulled hundreds of likes.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Another time hitting distractions or disturbing flight attendants during flight and disobeying flight safety instructions,” said a user. “Entitled white man from the GREAT BRITAIN,” said a second.
