Viral Video: An adorable cat is probably the last thing that anyone can get reminded of while encountering a snake, however, that is exactly what happened with this video. The said video was of a caregiver giving a ‘shower’ to an Indonesian king cobra. Yes, take your time to believe that. However, despite the animal being one of the deadliest reptiles in the world, netizens were quick to compare the snake and its reaction to water with cats and their response to bathing. Some even found the video 'somewhat cute’.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Invention’. The post was captioned, “Giving in Indonesian King Cobra a shower, fangs and glands attached.”

The video was shared a while back and pulled countless reactions. Most people found the video cute and compared the cobra’s reactions to how a cat reacts, while the rest pointed out that the snake looked ‘comfortable’.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Fun fact, King cobras will start to recognize the faces of their caretakers and will associate them with care and will be less likely to attack them after being cared for by the same people for so long g,” a user said. “Man if anything they sassy just like cats,” commented a second person.
“We humans really pet everything we see,” added a third person. “Looked like it was enjoying that. No blink. No recoil. Just that ‘meep!’ that we all do when we first hit shower water,” wrote a fourth person. “If you’re nice to animals. They will be nice to you. Animals know kindness and niceness,” commented another.
