Viral Video: The beloved Spiderman might be the neighborhood's ‘friendly hero’ in the MARVEL Universe, but in Delhi’s Dwarka, the ‘chappal-wearing Spiderman’ is rather famous for breaking traffic rules. The Delhi Police arrested a 20-year-old man, Aditya, for violating traffic rules while he also wore a Spiderman costume. The arrest came after a video of the ‘desi Spiderman’ sitting on the bonnet of a moving car went viral on social media. As per reports, the miscreant is also facing a hefty fine of Rs 26,000. Aditya resides in Najafgarh, whereas the driver involved, 19-year-old Gaurav Singh, reportedly lives in Mahavir Enclave.

Singh was also charged for driving without a pollution certificate and for not wearing a seatbelt, as per news agency ANI. Ironically enough, this is not the first time that Aditya was arrested, as he has been arrested for bike stunts in April as well.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘MihirkJha’. The post was captioned, “Delhi: This ‘Chappal wala Spiderman’ was caught by Dilli Police, fined ₹20,000 and will spend a few days in lockup.” The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 10K views from people.
