Viral Video: Birthday is mostly one of the best days of the year. And the same becomes a hundred times more wholesome when it's being celebrated for a furry companion or a pet. So automatically, when a video of a family celebrating their pet dog’s birthday was shared online, it went viral in the blink of an eye. What further made the clip enjoyable was the dog’s reaction, which was wholesome in a thousand different ways. From the furry one jumping out of excitement to the hug with its human friend at the end, the video had it all that was enough to melt countless hearts on social media. 

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “It’s my birthday!”

The video is heavily doing rounds on social media. Most people flooded the comment box with greetings and wishes, while the rest shared their pets’ pictures and recalled their stories of their birthdays. The post was shared today and pulled 73K views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Happy birthday good boi,” a user said. “Happy birthday from me and mini,” said a second person. “I don't have any gifts but happy birthday!” wished a third user. “Dog rejoices with her owners, she understands everything and feels good,” said a fourth person. “I have a dog called Gidget. She is 9 years old. Cross Jack Russell /Long-haired Chihuahua. I can't be bothered finding a photo. Happy Birthday!” added a fifth netizen.
