Viral Video: A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event and for that reason alone, people usually let the newlyweds enjoy the event with them being the centre of attention. But that was not the case for this wedding and these guests, as they effortlessly turned the entire thing into a ‘disaster’ that the duo will never forget. The said wedding made headlines after an ugly ‘chair war’ broke out between the guests at the wedding. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral in no time.
Although the date and location of the incident were not confirmed, but as per the viral post, the incident took place in Aligarh. Meanwhile, the internet was quick to turn it into a ‘guessing game’ as people guessed the possible reasons. Most concluded that the fight must be behind a possible ‘food shortage’.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘SachinGuptaUP’. The post was captioned in Hindi, which roughly translated to, “Chair war in Aligarh wedding.”

The video, soon after getting shared online, began to do rounds on the internet. Most people found the incident ‘immature’ and ‘hilarious’ and cracked jokes on the same, while some chastised the crowd for the behaviour. Some also recalled other instances where people fought for petty reasons at events. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 10K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Well, after the Chaat War of Baghpat, something new came into the market,” a user said. “People had expressed their displeasure for Imarti, the rabri given along with it was fragrant,” said a second. “Reminds me of The Great #BattleOfBaghpath,” said another. “One is even saying: Why are you breaking chairs,” wrote a fourth person.
“Why do people act like this in gatherings? Someone could have actually ended up in the hospital,” said a fifth. “This is just too much. They are fighting like animals, with no regard to the fact that attacking with chairs can lead to something very serious,” said another.
“Why are they even fighting? I don’t wanna take a wild guess here, but most of the time, the reason behind such fights at weddings or other functions is mostly food. Is the same for this as well?” asked a seventh.
