Viral Video: A video from Kota, Rajasthan, has touched countless hearts and sparked anger online. The viral video shows a young girl sitting on a road divider, crying her heart out, after an auto-rickshaw driver allegedly slapped her. She had reportedly been chasing his vehicle to sell roses when the shocking incident happened. The heartbreaking moment was captured by Instagram content creator Shikhar Sahni, known for his page Ride with Shikhar. While riding his bike, he spotted the girl sobbing uncontrollably with a small bundle of roses in her hand. Moved by her pain, he stopped to comfort her and even offered her money but she quietly refused and continued crying.
Sharing the video online, Shikhar explained, “She didn’t cry because she didn’t get the money… she cried because the world failed her. An auto driver slapped her for chasing after his auto to sell a rose. I stopped, listened, and tried to comfort her. She refused money, not out of pride, but pain. Let’s be better humans. Be the reason someone believes kindness still exists.”
In the clip, Shikhar gently places his hand on the girl’s head and tries to calm her, saying, “I consoled her by gently placing my hand on her head and tried to explain that she shouldn’t run after vehicles like that.” The video has left many people emotional, raising serious questions about how children living on the streets are treated. It’s a painful reminder that kindness, care, and humanity should never be forgotten, especially when it comes to the most vulnerable.

The video shared two days ago received 12.8 million views from social media users. One user wrote, "This is heartbreaking. We’re from Easy Foundation, and we’d really like to help this little girl. If anyone knows where this happened or the Location to reach her, please let us know." "If you see kids begging or selling on the streets, call 1098 — the government will rescue them and help them go to school. Buying things from them and giving money will not make their life better," a second user added. "If I at least get the auto number. I’ll definitely give him a return gift that his generation will remember forever. It’s hunting me," added a third user.
"This video brought two very strong emotions. On one side, the boiling of blood, seeing how that auto rickshaw driver dared to slap that little girl and get away with it so easily. On the other side, a feeling of gratitude that there are beautiful souls like you who took the time to help her, not because you offered her money but because you said the words she needed the most," a fourth user added. "How dare that auto driver raise his hand on that poor little girl? This world has seriously lost its empathy. We see a poor little child selling on the streets in such heat and harsh conditions and we think it's not genuine. Shame on all and one tight one to that auto driver," wrote another user.
