Viral Video: A hairstylist took the term ‘experiment’ a bit too seriously after he decided to do a peculiar experiment with one of his customers. Leaving the rest of the hairdressers behind in the ‘game’ of ‘hair colour experimenting and creativity’, the said hairstylist coloured a customer’s hair with India’s popular Ujala Liquid Detergent. Yes, you read that correctly. For those, who are somehow unaware, Ujala Liquid Detergent is a dark blue liquid that is used for fabric whitening. Coming back to the ‘experiment’, a video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral on the internet and left people confused and ‘too stunned to speak’. 

Meanwhile, at the end of the clip, the customer's hair had a hint of purple, while the rest of the hair was given an ash-blond tone. 

The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Rahul Kalshetty’. The post was captioned, “Ujala- just experimenting.”

The video, ever since it was shared, has been doing rounds on social media. Most people found the experiment hilarious and cracked jokes on the same, while some suggested other ‘peculiar’ things that the man can try for his ‘experimenting’. Some also called the practice a ‘waste of time’ and asked the salon to not damage the man’s hair anymore. The video was shared 4 days ago and pulled 97K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “So this is why we are getting so many Ujala orders,” commented Blinkit’s official handle. “Perhaps deposit a mouthful of Zubaan Kesari,” joked a second person. “Also apply red harpic with a glossy touch of black hit,” said a third. “Feel sorry for this guy and for his hair and for that person’s salon,” added a fourth user. 

“Does he even have hair left to try more things? They are damaged to the next level. Please stop experimenting with the man’s hair,” added a fifth person. “This is Ash Blonde..! One of the most difficult hair colors to achieve... industry marvel... this quackery can not be true,” said another. “Well, I must say it: I tried this years ago, and worked very well,” added another. “India is not for beginners,” said another.
