Viral Video: It seems like chain-snatching incidents have reached a ‘breaking point’. Confused? Well, gone are the days when snatchers did the deed with a full-proof escape plan which usually involved bikes for fleeing, as recently, a man attempted to snatch a woman’s chain on a moving train. Yes, imagine that. And if you are still confused over the obvious question of where the man could have run from the moving train, then allow such to surprise you with the answer; he jumped out of the train.
The incident was caught on a CCTV camera that was installed on the train, as per which, the matter unfolded on March 13. Meanwhile, the location could not be confirmed. The man in question was already standing near the train door when two women crossed him while changing coaches. As soon as the ladies reached near him, he attempted to snatch the chain and then jumped out of the speeding train. The video went viral and left people reacting.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘rnsaai’. The post was captioned, “While traveling in a train be careful.”

The video, which was shared online, went viral in no time. Most people pointed out the deteriorating security and safety conditions in India, while the rest were left shocked over the incident. The post was shared three days ago and pulled 2M views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Plot twist : - turns out the chain is not gold. - Bro ended up with a broken leg and, a broken back. - Spends thousands of rupees on hospitalization,” a user said. “What he was doing?” added a second person. “We need 400+ to ensure your safety and belongings now,” added a third user.
“I didn't think it would be like that,” commented a fourth netizen. “What he was trying to do ??? snatch something from the lady or what ???” added a fifth person. “Unexpected. Have to be extra careful now. Didn't know these things happen in moving train as well,” wrote another. “Always keep your belongings secure and stay aware of your surroundings.
