Viral Video: India might be a country where a majority preach women gods, but the women in the country are surely seemingly not feeling safe. From rape cares to eve-teasing, some of the most gruesome acts against women are unfortunately becoming common in the country, only increasing the concerns over the safety, security and freedom of women. Keeping that in mind, it makes sense why the internet supported a young school girl for confronting her alleged harasser in a much-needed manner. A video came forward, where the said girl was seen brutally hitting the alleged harasser with a belt in the middle of a road in Ahmedabad.

The video went viral as most people supported what was happening. In the clip, the passersby also did not intervene as the younger girl continued to teach the accused a lesson. The date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Female students confronted the harasser and beat him up with belts on Road in Ahmedabad.” The video was shared today and pulled 368K views from people.

Most were with the girl and expressed their satisfaction over the consequence that the alleged harasser ended up facing, while the rest suggested handing the man over to the police.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Ahmedabad’s female students showed real courage by confronting a harasser directly. That’s the way forward, women need to take their safety into their own hands,” a user said. “Well done girls. More power to you. Real Chad,” added a second person.

“Why not use something even tougher?” indeed a third person. “Belt treatment and chappal treatment hi chahiye tha (Belt treatment and chappal treatment was the only way),” added a fourth user. “Good job sister, he won't make this mistake next time,” commented a fifth person. “That's how these freaks must be treated .. give them to public .. public will make sure to do the best,” added another.
