Viral Video: In a questionable incident that came forward from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, a man accused of kidnapping minors ended up hiding in a room after the crowd was seemingly ready to go out of control. A video of some nearby residents fuming and trying to flush out the accused from the room was shared on social media, which went viral. As soon as the clip began to float online, netizens were more concerned about the absence of the police as they were against ‘mob thrashing’. The incident, as per the post, took place in Lucknow’s Govind Vihar Colony, whereas the date of the matter could not be confirmed.
The video, after getting shared, went viral and left people commenting. Most were left furious over the kidnapper and his crime, while the rest suggested calling the police instead of getting involved in the absence of authorities.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘WeneedFight’. The post was captioned, “Kidnapping case in Lucknow govind vihar colony chinhat context: the guy hiding inside kidnapped minor boys and girls.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled more than 1K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Very serious issue they should call the police immediately,” a user said. “Such people should be given severe punishment,” added a second person. “Chilli powder smoke will definitely smoke him out,” commented a third user. “Has anyone thought of calling the police?” added a fourth person.
“Never thought I'd see this happening in India,” added a fifth user. “Is this the Udder Pradesh I've been hearing about?” added a sixth person. “Police ko bulao. Inhone to yaha to apne se start kar diya. Khud nhi kro police ko bulao. (They should call the police, but they instead took the law into their own hands),” commented a seventh user.
