Viral Video: One of the most dangerous, if triggered the wrong way, yet one of the most humble creatures of the ecosystem, are surely the gentle giants; the elephants. Social media is full of incidents and videos which either have posed these creatures as a ‘force to not reckon with’, or the ultimate ‘softies’ that everyone wanted to hug. Adding to the latter category, a video was shared online, which went viral.
The video was recorded by a commuter travelling on a road in a forest area. However, the traffic was seemingly halted, as a herd of elephants was crossing from one side of the street to the other. What ultimately made the clip viral, however, was a gentle ‘thank you’ at the end by one of the elephants. The video left people impressed and in love, as the internet commended the gesture.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “Elephant said thank you after the herd crossed the road.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 370K views from people.
