Viral Video: In one of the most ‘unexpected’ and ‘questionable’ decisions ever made by a patient, a man decided to light a ‘beedi’ inside a hospital, while he was on oxygen support. Yes, the entire story is as hard to believe as it sounds stupid. The incident took place in Gujarat’s GG Hospital in Jamnagar. The said man was admitted to the ICU in the hospital, and this is when he felt the ‘urge’ to smoke a beedi. As soon as he lit the beedi, the oxygen caught fire, putting the entire hospital in danger. However, the staff was luckily able to get the incident under control. A video of the aftermath was shared on the internet, which went viral.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘dhairyagajara'. The post was captioned, “Gujarat A patient in the ICU of Jamnagar's GG Hospital lit a beedi while on oxygen support when he felt the urge. Oxygen caught fire as soon as the beedi was lit. However, the hospital staff controlled the fire in a timely manner.”
