Delhi Viral Video: No one in Delhi’s Prem Nagar expected a quiet Sunday evening to turn terrifying for a six-year-old boy. But a shocking incident unfolded when a pitbull suddenly turned aggressive, leaving the child badly injured. What makes the moment even more disturbing is that everything was captured on camera. In the video, the dog runs toward the child without warning. The little boy tries to escape, but the pitbull chases him, catches up, and attacks. The dog bites his ears and even drags him on the ground as the boy screams in pain.
Just behind him, a woman, possibly a neighbour or family member, runs to save the child. She struggles to pull the dog away, and seconds later, a man joins in to help. While the woman somehow manages to control the dog, the man lifts the injured boy in his arms and carries him to safety.
The police later confirmed that the attack happened while the boy was simply playing outside his home in Vinay Enclave. Officers said, “Preliminary inquiry revealed that the boy was playing outside his house in Vinay Enclave when the pitbull suddenly came out from a neighbour’s residence and attacked him. The dog belongs to Rajesh Pal (50), a tailor by profession," he said. Police have now registered a case and arrested the dog’s owner, Rajesh Pal, as the investigation continues.

The video shared on X (Formerly Twitter) received many comments from social media users. While many called for strict action against the pet owner, others demanded a street dog policy for public safety. One user wrote, "Aggressive breeds like the pitbull and rottweiler are banned in India! Of course, people don't understand their true aggression and there's no enforcement."
"Finally! A lesson for all ‘dangerous dog show-offs’. Your pet, your crime, your punishment," a second user wrote. "Pitbull is not a street dog. TBH, this is a very aggressive breed which is restricted in many countries due to its aggressive nature. It can kill people if it desires. Such breeds need a lot of training and care. How can they leave this dog unleashed and without a muzzle?" wrote a third user.
"Do not compare Stray Dogs with Pitbull. Police should not only arrest the present Owner of the dog but also the one from whom he obtained the dog," added a fourth user. "Why people's can't be understand that a pitbull is a hyper-aggressive deer-hunting dog, we cannot use it as a Domestic puppy. And also irresponsible owners who do not leash his/her dog," a fifth user added.
