Noida Viral Video: Another pet dog-related incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida is making headlines on social media and the netizens cannot help but ‘call out’ Noida residents for maintaining a reputation for such cases, especially in recent years. In the latest incident that took place in the city’s high-rise, Park Laureate Society in Sector 108, a heated argument, turning into an assault from both sides, unfolded. CCTV footage on the matter soon went viral where a retired IAS Officer, RP Gupta, was seen slapping a woman allegedly over her pet dog in the elevator. According to the reports, the slap was against the woman’s attempts to stop the former officer from recording the incident on his phone.
However, the matter further escalated when the said woman reportedly called her husband at the spot who ended up beating up the retired IAS officer. As soon as the clip went viral, people started reacting to it and demanded an investigation.
The video was posted on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Shukla8175’. The post was captioned, “Noida never disappoints. Watch this fight. Controversy overtaking a dog in the elevator. First, a retired IAS officer assaulted a woman, and then the woman got her husband to beat up the retired officer. Parx Laureate Society.”

The video is going widely viral on the internet. Most people dubbed such incidents common for Noida and expressed their concern over increasing pet dog-related matters in the city, while others took sides and either defended the officer or took a stance against him. Some also demanded an investigation into the matter. The video was shared today and received views in hundreds.
As soon as the matter started doing rounds on social media, Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar took notice of the viral clip and commented on one of the videos on X. Clearing the matter, it was informed that the incident is being investigated. “There has been a dispute regarding taking the dog in the lift. Talks are being held with both parties, ACP-1 Noida Maya police station in-charge is on the spot. According to preliminary information, there has been a fight between both the parties, CCTV is being observed, and after investigation necessary action will be taken,” the X comment read.

Taking to social media, people posted the CCTV footage and shared their views on the matter. “Retired IAS gets involved in a scuffle with a lady over a dog in the elevator.
