Bangladesh Viral Video: Until a few years ago, when the concept of a selfie was rather new, hardly anyone could have imagined that selfies would even take lives in the coming years. After all, since when did taking photos become a life-threatening activity? Well, regardless of how nonsensical the question looked almost a decade ago, ‘selfie accidents’ have become a thing. Social media is full of incidents where many lost their lives or were severely injured in attempts to get questionable pictures clicked. Adding another incident to the list, a video was shared on social media, where a group of kids were trying to take a selfie near a speeding train. The group's vibe quickly changed after one of the kids was accidentally hit by the train, as he was standing a bit too close to the train tracks.
As per the post, the incident took place in Bangladesh, but the date could not be confirmed. Luckily for the kid, another social media post claimed that the kid survived the bone-chilling hit.
The Bangladesh video, after getting shared, pulled all kinds of reactions. Most people found the accident terrifying, while the rest called the incident a doing of the kid’s own carelessness. Many also expressed their relief over the kid's survival.
The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘iSoumikSaheb’. The post was captioned, “While Making Tiktok / Selfie A Train Accident Happened At Rangpurs Singimara Bridge I Urge Kids To Have Some Sanity While Doing So.” The post was shared a while back and pulled 776K views from people.
“Update: He survived,” an update post read. The video was also shared by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’.
