Viral Video: India and Indians are not for beginners and the typical shenanigans that happen here from time to time are the very reasons why such phrases are becoming more common and ‘believable’ with every passing day. Exemplifying something similar, a video was shared online, which went viral almost instantly. The video showed a group of men making an alleged gold chain snatcher dance after beating him up for stealing. As per the post, the incident unfolded somewhere in Delhi and its adjoining areas. The men punishing the alleged snatcher were also seen dancing along with the accused. As the clip began to circulate online, people had all kinds of takes over the ‘punishment’.
Most found the incident funny and pulled all kinds of jokes, while the rest dubbed the punishment cruel and suggested that the thief should have been handed over to the police. A few also found the ‘justice’ apt. The exact date and location of the matter could not be confirmed.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Thief got beaten by the crowd and forced to dance on Song, Somewhere in NCR region.” The video was shared today and pulled 326K views from people.
