Viral Video: Many might believe them to be aloof, but the truth that cats can be one of the most clingy, loving and considerate furry friends cannot be denied. Social media is, in fact, full of videos and instances where cats won people over for doing something out of the ordinary, that spoke volumes about their love for their favourite ‘human slaves’. Exemplifying similar consideration and sense of protection, a cat turned into an uncalled hero for many, after its video of saving an unattended toddler was shared online. The furry one in question was seen saving the toddler from falling off the stairs, by blocking the little one’s way. The incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed nearby, the footage of which grabbed the attention of many.
The incident happened long back, its video, however, is only now going viral. The location of the matter could not be confirmed. The video also left netizens questioning the poor kid’s parents and their parenting, as they pointed out the ‘carelessness’ of leaving a toddler alone.
The cat video has been floating around the internet ever since it has been shared on social media. Most people found the cat a ‘good pet’ and hailed its quick thinking, while the rest chastised the parents for leaving the toddler alone at a potentially dangerous place.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘WorldDarkWeb’. The post was captioned, “Cat saves baby from falling down the stairs.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 108K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Cat is better than the parents,” a user said. “Alright, pussy cat... now go scratch the SHIT out of the parents because this is surely parenting fail. Why would they leave the baby like that? Thanks to the cat though,” commented a second person.
“I would have used ‘prevented’ rather than ‘saves’,” added a third person. “I love these types of videos.... that CaT deserves a Mooooo,” added a fourth person. “Now, I'm caught up with the handle lol,” commented a fifth person. “It's amazing having such a cat as a pet,” added a sixth user.
