Viral Video: A shocking theft at a hair salon recently grabbed the attention of social media users. CCTV footage captured the moment when cash was stolen from a puja thali, in just a few seconds, even with a security guard standing nearby. The salon was almost empty when two men walked in. One engaged the receptionist in conversation, while the other, wearing a striped t-shirt, quickly grabbed the money from the puja thali. The incident took place on Thursday, September 18, around 3:51 PM and lasted less than a minute.

The video shows the striped-t-shirt man acting swiftly, taking the cash while his partner kept the staff distracted. The security guard, standing just a few steps away, did not intervene, leaving it unclear whether he noticed what was happening. Within seconds, the theft was complete and both men left the salon calmly.

The clip was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle 'gharkekalesh' with the caption: “Look at that T-shirt guy near the counter.” The footage has since gone viral, leaving netizens shocked at how easily the crime was carried out in broad daylight.

"I don't understand. In India, people don't understand the meaning of queue. They always go sideways if there is a space on the counter. This is bizarre. I have seen it in multiple places. A queue or line means a person behind another person, not on the side," a user wrote. "I thought the security guard had an eye on the thief but he let him go," a second user wrote.
