Lucknow Viral Video: Another incident putting Uttar Pradesh’s law and order situation under the scanner, a WWE-like clash ended up breaking out on the streets of Lucknow. A video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral in an instant. The clip showed the said brawl, where two women passengers were seen brutally fighting with an e-rickshaw driver in public. As per the viral post, the clash was allegedly over some fare dispute. From slaps to punches, the women hardly left any stone unturned. The exact date could not be confirmed, whereas the incident reportedly unfolded in Lucknow’s Aminabad. As soon as the video went viral, it came to the notice of the Lucknow Police. As per police, both parties were taken to the Aminabad Police Station. Meanwhile, an investigation is underway.
The UP video mostly left many unsettled by the lack of law and order in the state. The rest chastised the trio for resorting to physical and abusive fight in public, instead of reaching out to the authorities.
The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘himansulive’. The post was captioned, “The dispute is said to be about fare....then women beat up the e-rickshaw driver! VideoViral of the incident from Aminabad, Lucknow.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 63K views from people.

“Both parties are present at Aminabad police station, necessary action is being taken,” a response by the Lucknow Police read.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The e-rickshaw drivers in Lucknow are very rude to passengers. If they see a woman or girls sitting, they play inappropriate songs also,” a user said. “People should take e-rickshaws with running meters and pay accordingly to avoid any arguments overcharges,” added a second person.
“Such women play the victim card and create obstacles in the path of so many victimised women. It is clearly visible that the rickshaw puller is being targeted,” added another person. “That’s too much, where is the law now?” added a fourth user. “It will definitely be the boy's fault,” added a fifth person.
