Telangana Viral Video: Social media is full of weddings where it was the guests who stole all the spotlight rather than the couple- and not for good reasons to say the least. Believe it or not, there are enough wedding cases where guests ended up fighting over food, that it can be turned into a category of such weddings altogether. Adding another to the chart, a wedding turned into a battlefield after the relatives of the bride and groom ended up clashing with each other. What was further bizarre was the reported reason behind the fight; not enough pieces of mutton. As per reports, the matter was first triggered after the guests from the groom’s side were upset with the served mutton. The incident reportedly took place in Telangana’s Nizamabad.
A video of the same was shared online, which went viral almost immediately. As per reports, a case has been registered over the issue.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘TeluguScribe’. The post was captioned, “Heads were broken for mutton. In a wedding ceremony held in Navipet of Nizamabad district, the bridegroom's party was attacked with sticks and stones for not having enough mutton. This made the function hall look like a battlefield. Several people were injured in the incident and the police have registered a case and are investigating.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 212K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Anything is fair in the war to get enough protein,” a user said. “The person who started it and escaped was a person who was not even invited to the wedding. These are the kinds of people who usually create all the fuss,” commented a second person.
“Too much is useless. The value of a meal of rice is clear to those who stay in the ashram,” added another. “This is just sad that the bride’s family must have realised later that the brood’s side is really that chindi that they created all this chaos for some mutton. Ask them to get their own if they want it this badly,” wrote a fourth user.
