Who Is Sweet Zannat?: A casual scroll through Instagram turned into a nightmare for Meghalaya-based influencer Sweet Zannat last month. Known as '@sweet_zannat_12374' on social media, she usually shares snippets of her daily life online. But recently, a viral 19-minute video featuring an Instagram couple pulled her into an unexpected storm. Many people mistakenly thought Zannat was the woman in the clip and started bombarding her account with messages, tags, and harsh comments.
The private video quickly spread across social media, sparking endless discussions. While most viewers didn’t know the identities of those involved, a baseless rumour soon connected Zannat to the clip. Once the false claim started circulating, thousands of users flooded her profile, asking if she was the girl in the MMS.
Zannat Responds To The Chaos:
As the online chaos grew, Zannat decided to speak up. In a calm but firm video on her Instagram, she asked viewers to compare her face with the woman in the clip, saying: “Pehle aap log achhe tarike se mujhko dekho, ab isko dekho.” She emphasised that there was no similarity and questioned why she was being dragged into someone else’s controversy.

Even amid the unpleasant situation, Zannat managed to keep her sense of humour. She joked, "Aree bhai ye ladki English bolti hai, maine to 12th tak padhai bhi nahi ki hai. Free me mere ko viral kar rahe ho," the rumour unintentionally brought her more followers and views. Her video ended with a lighthearted line: "Chalo karo karo mera kya, mera to achha khasa followers bhi aa raha hai. View bhi aa raha hai. Okay, bye."

The takeaway is clear: Sweet Zannat had no connection to the viral MMS clip. She was wrongly targeted because of misinformation and careless tagging on social media, yet she handled the situation with humour, honesty, and poise.
