Viral Video: A video from Maharashtra is going viral and has sparked a big discussion on language freedom. In the video, a man confronts a girl for speaking in Hindi instead of Marathi, leading to a tense argument between the two.

The video shows the man insisting that the girl speak Marathi because she lives in Maharashtra. He even starts recording her while asking why she isn't using the local language. The girl, however, stays calm and firm. She replies that she has every right to speak the language she is comfortable with, no matter where she lives. As the situation gets more heated, people around them step in to stop the fight.

The video has now become a talking point online, with many praising the girl for confidently standing up for her right to choose her language.

The video, which is going viral all over the internet, was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle 'Ghar Ke Kalesh.' The post was captioned, "Kalesh b/w a Marathi guy and lady over not speaking Marathi in Maharashtra." The video shared yesterday garnered 200k views from people.

Social media users were quick to react to the viral video without wasting any time. One user wrote, "Language is important hai, but you can't harass like this. Both of them should be polite!" "And we are back to where we stopped right after the ceasefire - "Speak in Marathi," a second user added. "Send these language warriors to the order and tell them to show their power there… even our heroes who are fighting and protecting us will feel sad that they are fighting for these kinds of people," a third user wrote.

"India probably has to be always in a state of war for us Indians to be together! Shame!" added a fourth user. "If you come across any language warriors, just say 'Okay, I’ll learn soon,' and walk away. No need to waste your energy," a fifth user added. "A high level of joblessness makes people cling to artificial things like language (and other kinds of pride) pride and harass random people on the streets. You don't see working professionals waste their time on this," added another user.
