Viral Video: Testing perfumes before buying them is something so common, that people buying them without a test would now look rather odd. So when this lady was doing something similar at an alleged perfume shop, as per a post, it was already quite understood by the saleswoman, who handed the lady a bottle. However, things took a confusing turn when the said woman instead drank the alleged perfume. Yes, let that sink in because that was surely something NOT normal. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera that was installed near the counter.

The footage of the same was shared online and went viral almost immediately. The woman, soon after a gulp of the perfume, as per the viral post, left the shop, leaving people around her shocked.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “When the smell of a perfume is not enough.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and gained a heavy reaction. Most people were concerned about the woman’s health, while the rest found it hilariously confusing, and felt dumbstruck. Many also speculated that she confused the bottle with alcohol. The post was shared today and pulled 89K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Sometimes you just gotta bathe in it!” a user said. “2 options, 1st in the bottle was alcohol, so she took a sip. 2nd, she was already drunk so it's a normal behavior,” speculated a second person. “Sales girl can't believe what has happened,” added a third user. “She confused the bottles,” added another.

“I'm curious if she's an alcoholic. I once knew a jobless guy who drank hand sanitizer because he had a drinking problem,” commented a fifth person. “Yes we used to try by spraying actually in the malls,” added another. “She needs to smell better from the inside,” joked another. “You can also brush your teeth if you have bad breath, I'm just saying,” wrote another.
