Gurugram Woman Viral Video: Rain, high speed, and a reckless stunt, that’s what a viral video from the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway captures. In the clip, a woman is seen sitting on the roof of a speeding Mahindra Thar, legs dangling over the windscreen, filming reels and taking selfies while traffic rushes past. The scene, straight out of a daredevil movie, could have ended in tragedy.

The date of the incident is still unknown, but police quickly tracked the vehicle through its registration number and registered an FIR at DLF police station, Sector-29, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rash driving and endangering lives. Soon after, the Thar was seized from its owner in Gwal Pahadi.

Gurugram police PRO Sandeep Kumar said the owner denied knowing about the incident, claiming his son usually drives the SUV. “The owner was unaware of any such incident. His son drives the car but he was not at home when a police team reached there. The owner has been asked to produce his son before the police,” he said.

"In the video, the woman could be seen sitting on the roof with her legs hanging on the front windscreen. She was shooting reels and clicking pictures with a mobile phone while the entire traffic was on the move on the expressway,” Kumar stated. Officers are now hunting for both the woman and the driver seen in the footage.

The video shared on X and various other social media platforms received many likes, views, and comments from people. While many asked for strict action, others requested to ban on Thar.

Shockingly, this is not an isolated case. Just last Sunday, a convoy of 22 luxury cars blocked a busy Sector 108 intersection for several minutes, all for the sake of flashy social media reels.

On Monday, a case was lodged against the suspects at Rajendra Park police station, and three were taken into custody. However, the primary suspects, including the three men on top of the sports car and two others making videos, remain at large, a police officer involved in the investigation stated. The officer assured that all other individuals who obstructed the intersection will be located and apprehended soon.
