Bengaluru man on Moon: It’s been a long time since the man walked on the Moon. Moon is still pretty much a mystery and only recently, humanity managed to reach its southern side after India's Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission witnessed a historic success. While the Moon surely is still full of mysteries, a video of a man recently walking on the Moon surfaced online and left people amazed and confused at the same time. The video showed a man walking on the Moon and soon went viral. But later, it was revealed that the video, in reality, was of a man walking on a road in Bengaluru. The ruined surface of the road resembled Moon’s surface and the video was a huge dig at the state government. The video was shared long back but has resurfaced after Chandrayaan-3’s success.

The video was shared on social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘baadal nanjundaswamy'. The post was captioned, “Hello bbmp, BBMP_MAYOR.”

The clip began by showing a man in an astronaut suit walking on the Moon. The man was seen taking slow steps in the absence of gravity. Soon, the video took another twist and the Moon was revealed to be a road on the Earth. For further confirmation, an auto passed by the man. The video showed several angles of the man walking on what appeared to be a road full of potholes. The man was simply walking too slowly to create the illusion of walking on the Moon.

Some called it common for the roads in India, while others lauded the man's swipe at the state authorities for their lack of actions over such issues. The video was shared long back but is going viral again. It has garnered 23.7K likes from the netizens so far.

These corrupt and incompetent bunch don't deserve a single rupee. @unitedbengaluru. We can file a writ and throw a show cause till all roads are fixed no tax to BBMP," added a fourth. "This is brilliant!" said a fifth. "Boss, how much will you charge per day for your suite? I need it for explaining abt road quality here in Chennai," asked a sixth.

India recently etched history after it became the first and the only nation to reach the Moon's South Pole after soft-landing on its surface at 6:04 PM on August 23.
