Italy Restaurant Dining Rule Viral Video: The internet can’t stop laughing after an Indian woman’s hilarious rant about her dining experience in Italy went viral. Her video, posted by Vagmita Singh on Instagram, shows her sharing the unexpected challenges of eating at Italian restaurants and people can totally relate. The clip, captioned “Bhai yeh toh syllabus meintha hi nahi”, has taken social media by storm. In the now-viral video, Vagmita jokes about how eating out in Italy feels like giving a tough national-level exam. She says, “Bhai yeh Italy aake pata lag raha hai ki, yahan pa jaake restaurant mein khaana khaana kissi imtehaan se kam nahi hai woh bhi national level ka.”
Things took a confusing turn when she noticed an extra charge on her bill called coperto. Shocked, she asked the waiter what it meant. “Excuse me, what is this coperto and why have you charged me for it?” she recalled asking, adding that the waiter looked annoyed. That’s when she found out the surprising truth, “coperto is the plate, you eat on a plate and you pay for the plate.”
Her comic frustration didn’t stop there. Vagmita continued, “Sorry, lijiye maine thappad maar liya aapne aap ko,” before sharing another funny incident. When she requested rum with hot water because of a sore throat, she said the waitress looked completely shocked. To top it off, one of her friends asked for his drink without ice and even that, apparently, was too much to handle for the staff.

"The kind of hospitality we get in India can't be found anywhere. Because of us - Athithi Devo Bhavah," a user wrote. In fact, we found some of the sweetest people in restaurants and they were all willing to help," wrote a third user.
"Being a hospitality guy totally understand your point, but don't ha I have served people around the world but we Indians are very choosy when it comes to food, no matter how good the menu always makes changes," added a fourth user. "What a nonsense! The Italians are one of the sweetest people in whole Europe! You just need to ask nicely! And that coperto is a service charge, which is 1-3 euros per person," added another user.
