Viral Video: It sounds bizarre but being too famous can also cause trouble sometimes, which is exactly what happened with YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr, who is more popular by the name IShowSpeed, when he went to visit Norway. What was supposed to be a calming visit to one of the most beautiful countries, turned into a nightmare for the influence, when his ‘fans’ got overly excited and instead ended up hurting and scaring Speed.
The man was reportedly out for a simple stroll on the streets, while also live-streaming, when he suddenly started receiving fans who wanted to meet and greet him. The situation turned ugly real quick as the crowd only increased with time, resulting in the YouTuber reportedly getting trapped for more than an hour in one of the shops that he took shelter in for safety. He later came out of the shop, while being surrounded by his guards to reach his car, only to reportedly get attacked before reaching safety.
Shocked after facing such a major safety hazard, the YouTuber took to his social media and vowed to never visit Norway again. Videos of him being carried out of the said shop amid the heavy crowd went viral on the internet.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘JWiseKingRa’. The post was captioned, “Chaotic moment where IShowSpeed was mobbed by fans in Norway for nearly two hours, during which his hair was pulled and urine was allegedly thrown at him. He now vows never to return to the country after the ordeal.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Crazy day in Norway, he really got his hair dragged, sprayed on with fanta, and jumped on. Poor guy. I don't know how they managed to gather around him so quickly, but he would have had better luck if he had planned his visit a bit better,” a user said.
“It's fair to say that most of these guys are not Norwegians, they are emigrants from the whole world, it's the problem that Norway made in 2020,” added a second person. “Are these guys Norwegians???? I doubt that,” commented a third user. “Bro finally met his real audience,” added the next.
