Take one cup of semolina, one cup of grated coconut, half a cup of grated jaggery, one-fourth teaspoon of cardamom powder, one-fourth cup of chopped nuts, one-fourth cup of raisins, and ghee for frying.
Start by mixing one cup of semolina with water to form a smooth dough. Knead the dough well and let it rest for some time.
Next, mix grated coconut with grated jaggery and cardamom powder. Add chopped nuts and raisins to the mixture for added flavour and texture.
Finally, shape the semolina dough into small balls, flatten them slightly, and place a spoonful of the coconut-jaggery mixture in the centre.
Fold and seal the pitthas, and fry them in ghee until golden brown.
