The Henley Passport Ranking issues the Henley Passport Index of a global ranking of countries according to their travel freedom to other countries.
As per the Henley Passport Index, Singapore has the strongest passport in the world. The citizens of Singapore can travel visa-free to 195 destinations.
The other top countries which hold the strongest passports in the world after Singapore are: Japan (193), Finland (192), France (191) and Denmark (190).
India stands at the 85th position in the Global Passport Index, showing a decline in the ranking. Indian citizens can travel visa-free to 57 countries.
India shows a decline in the Global Passport Ranking compared to 2024. It stood at 85th position in 2025 and in 2024, it was at 80th position.
Afghanistan ranks at the 105th position in the Global Passport Ranking. Afghanis can travel to 27 countries visa-free. Ranking is affected due to the country’s instability.
