AP Dhillon Canada House Shooting Video: A shocking CCTV footage showing several rounds of gun-firing outside the house of popular Punjabi singer AP Dhillon in Canada's Vancouver has surfaced on the Internet, creating a wave of reactions. The purported video of the incident, which took place on September 2, also showed two vehicles being set on fire outside Dhillon's house.

The firing and subsequent arson were claimed by Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which reportedly carried it out as a protest to Dhillion featuring Bollywood actor Salman Khan in one of his song videos. The high-profile international gang is currently being probed for its alleged involvement in the murder of Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique and another Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose Wala. AP Dhillon is said to be on the target list of the gang.

Canadian police, which has earlier named Bishnoi an accomplice of Indian government agents in the murder of dreaded Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, has arrested a 25-year-old Abhijeet Kingra from Ontario for his alleged involvement in the firing-arson case. An arrest warrant was issued against Vikram Sharma, another Indian man, an NDTV report stated.

The other accused, Sharma, was described in a Canadian police statement as an Asian male with a height of 5 feet 9 inches, with black hair and brown eyes. However, they said he fled to India after the incident.

AP Dhillon, the Punjabi popstar, is known for his popular songs such as 'Insane', 'Brown Munde', 'Excuses', 'With You' and 'Summer High', among others. Earlier, a controversy erupted when Dhillon's shoes were dubbed as tri-coloured themed and Khlalistni separatist and designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said that the singer supported the agenda of Khalistan.

Dhillon was also in the news for allegedly supporting another singer Shubhmeet, who came under heavy criticism for posting a distorted map of India on Instagram.
