A strange crash in Canada has left the netizens stunned after a motorcycle ended up hanging several feet above the ground from a traffic signal pole following a collision at a busy intersection. The accident happened near the Surrey-Delta border in British Columbia on Saturday afternoon.

Video Goes Viral

Images and videos from the scene quickly went viral because the aftermath looked almost unreal. The pictures indicated that the motorcycle had collided with the front of a silver BMW sedan at the intersection. The impact was so powerful that the bike was thrown into the air before becoming stuck high up on the traffic signal structure. The incident left bystanders shocked and confused the internet users about how such a crash could happen.

Crash Between BMW And Suzuki 

Furthermore, the videos showed a badly damaged BMW parked below while emergency crews worked around the area. Witnesses gathered nearby as police blocked traffic and began investigating the incident. According to Road and track reports, the BMW driver escaped without injuries, while the motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The car involved appeared to be an E90-generation BMW 3-Series, while the motorcycle was believed to be a new 2027 Suzuki GSX-R1000 40th Anniversary Edition. Police said speed was believed to be one of the factors behind the crash. However, authorities did not confirm whether the speeding involved the car or the motorcycle.

Sharing the video, a user wrote on X, “Motorcycle ends up dangling from a traffic signal pole following a crash in Canada near the Surrey-Delta border. The bike appeared to launch into the air at the light after colliding with the front end of a BMW in an intersection. According to police, the rider suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The BMW driver was not injured.”

The strange position of the motorcycle made the crash look more like a movie stunt than a real accident, capturing the attention of netizens. A user wrote, “You can’t park there.” Another user commented, “That’s absolutely insane. The physics of that crash are wild bike launched like a rocket and just hanging there. Glad the rider’s injuries aren’t life-threatening. Hope they recover fast."
