Wang Kun, one of China's most celebrated bodybuilders, has died at the age of 30, shocking the fitness and sports community at home and abroad. According to the Anhui Provincial Bodybuilding Association, his death appears to be linked to a heart-related issue, though officials have not yet released full medical details. His passing was sudden, with reports indicating he had seemed healthy and active just days earlier.
Wang shot to prominence through sheer discipline, often describing his lifestyle as akin to a "monk’s life." For over a decade, he devoted himself entirely to training, nutrition, and rest, steering clear of common indulgences such as alcohol and late nights. His diet was famously simple, consisting mainly of hot pot broth with meat dipped in soy sauce and boiled chicken breast, choices he credited for helping him achieve and maintain his extraordinary physique.
