US billionaire Elon Musk has caused a stir after appearing to make a Heil Hitler salute during the Washington DC Trump parade on Monday, following the president’s inauguration. The gesture was captured on live television, with Musk seemingly repeating it three times.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is set to be the co-head of an advisory group aimed at carrying out dramatic cuts to the US government, dubbed DOGE [The Department of Government Efficiency].”

Trump dances crazy at Trump's Parade event

Musk pumped his fists as he spoke at the Inauguration Day viewing party at Capital One arena. He celebrated Trump’s victory, calling it “really important” and highlighting the new president’s promise to plant the US flag on Mars — a longtime goal of Musk’s.

"This, this is what victory feels like. Yeah! And this was no ordinary victory. This was a fork in the road of human civilization. Okay. This– You know, there are there are elections, that elections they come and go. Some elections are, you know, important. Some are not. But this one, this one, this one really mattered. And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you," Musk said after a crazy dance performance.

“I mean, can you imagine how awesome it will be to have American astronauts plant the flag on another planet for the first time?" he added.

Donald Trump Inaguration 

Donald Trump, who overcame impeachments, criminal indictments and a pair of assassination attempts to win another term in the White House, was sworn in Monday as the 47th US president, taking charge as Republicans claim unified control of Washington and set out to reshape the country’s institutions.

Trump’s swearing-in ceremony was moved indoors due to intense cold and began at noon ET. Festivities started earlier when Trump arrived for service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
