Elon Musk ignited a political firestorm by sharing a 1992 video on his social media platform X, depicting former US President Donald Trump socialising and dancing with Jeffrey Epstein and several women at a party. The tech billionaire accompanied the clip with a provocative claim, asserting that Trump’s name appears in classified government files connected to Epstein's alleged criminal activities.
In the clip, Trump can be seen dancing with several women and socialising with Epstein. Footage from a NBC broadcast shows the future president and Epstein surrounded by dancing women, with Trump gesturing to one and mouthing “she’s hot”. The Tesla boss shared the clip after claiming that the president has not made Epstein's files public because he features in them.

In his X post, Musk wrote, "Time to drop the really big bomb: (Trump) is in the Epstein files," suggesting that the ongoing secrecy surrounding these documents stems from efforts to conceal Trump’s involvement. The video and Musk’s allegations have fueled intense debate, boosting speculation about the contents of the unreleased files.
Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.

Have a nice day, DJT!
Who is Jeffrey Epstein?
Names of powerful people previously related to convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in Manhattan jail in 2019, including Trump, Prince Andrew and former US President Bill Clinton, have been named in court documents associated with Epstein's years of sexual abuse, The Hill reported.
Before being elected in November, Trump said that he would have "no problem" releasing files related to Epstein, something some lawmakers have demanded on social media following Epstein's death.
In 2024, Trump denied any association with Epstein, The Hill reported. In a post on X, he stated, "I was never on Epstein's Plane, or at his 'stupid' Island. Strong Laws ought to be developed against A.I. It will be a big and very dangerous problem in the future."
Elon Musk-Donald Trump online feud
In a post shared on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated, "The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon's Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it."
The 'Big', Beautiful Bill'
Earlier, Musk even conducted a poll on X, asking whether the US needs a new political party 'that actually represents the 80 per cent in the middle'. Earlier, Elon Musk called out Trump for ingratitude as the two disagreed on the latest US bill. His remarks came after Trump stated that he liked Musk and he was very surprisedand termed the bill "incredible." He stated that Musk was upset regarding the Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate. He made these remarks while speaking to reporters during his meeting with Friedrich Merz.
