Newly released documents from the US Justice Department related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have revealed details of his interactions with Indian industrialist Anil Ambani. The documents, part of the so-called Epstein Files, include conversations between Epstein and Ambani dating from 2017 to 2019. According to a Bloomberg report, the exchanges touched on business, global affairs, and women, offering fresh insight into how Epstein cultivated relationships with influential figures across the world.

One of the most striking conversations took place on March 9, 2017, when Epstein asked Ambani about his preferences. Ambani reportedly replied by asking, “What are your suggestions?”

Epstein responded, “A tall Swedish woman with blonde hair would be perfect to make the meeting ‘fun.’” Ambani then replied, “Arrange it immediately.” Epstein followed up by saying that if Ambani wanted to meet someone else discreetly, he could always let him know.

Discussions Beyond Business

The chats also reveal that Epstein frequently steered conversations beyond business. In one exchange after a May 2019 meeting in New York, Epstein messaged Ambani, “Today was a treat, nice seeing you.”

Ambani also mentioned his connections to Bollywood and Hollywood. Epstein asked if there was any actress or model Ambani was interested in, adding, “I hope not Meryl Streep. I can’t help you.” Ambani replied, “Great taste, my friend. Our next film is with Scarlett Johansson.” Epstein responded, “I’m glad you like young, white women.”

Epstein’s Efforts To Build Ambani Connections

The documents suggest Epstein actively sought information about Anil Ambani from people in his network. In February 2017, he asked Indian-American spiritual guru Deepak Chopra about Ambani. Chopra described him as “very rich, very attention-seeking, very celebrity-conscious,” and noted that Anil and his brother Mukesh “don’t get along.”

Epstein also reached out to prominent business figures such as Tom Pritzker and venture capitalist Peter Thiel to strengthen his ties with the Ambani family. He asked Pritzker whether he was closer to Mukesh or Anil Ambani and suggested that Thiel should meet Anil.

During this period, Epstein also commissioned several books related to the Ambani family, indicating a sustained effort to deepen his understanding and access to one of India’s most powerful business dynasties.
