Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist and son of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed, Hafiz Talha Saeed has once again issued a provocative anti-India speech in Sheikhupura, Pakistan. He openly vowed to continue a violent “jihadist” campaign, stating that he and his followers had taken a sacred pledge to wage jihad.

In the video that has emerged online, Talha declared that they would continue their operations and make sacrifices as long as they remained alive. “We are those who took the pledge of jihad at the hands of the Noble Prophet Muhammad,” he said. During his speech, he further targeted India’s leadership in New Delhi, invoking centuries of historical Muslim rule over the subcontinent to question India's current authority.

Asserting his statements as historical facts, Talha asked whether “enemy rulers of Pakistan” sitting in Delhi had forgotten who Delhi and other parts of India historically belonged to. “Muslims ruled India for 500 years. On what basis do the enemy rulers of Pakistan, sitting in Delhi, claim they have forgotten history, who Delhi belonged to, and who all these areas of India belonged to? My respected brothers, I am not saying anything for the sake of praise, anything that is false, or anything that goes against reality. Whatever I say, I say it with conviction,” Talha said.

Praises Asim Munir

He also heaped praises on Pakistan Army Chief and Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling him a Hafiz of the Quran. Talha stated that Munir had revived the concepts of “faith, piety and jihad” and memorised the holy book. His remarks again highlight the contentious ties of Pakistan's leadership with banned terrorist groups.

Earlier on August 13, Former federal minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed shared a public stage with top LeT terrorists. During the event, the leader didn’t just stand alongside United Nations-designated terror commanders but openly praised LeT chief Hafiz Saeed while issuing direct threats against India. Addressing the gathering, the former Pakistan Minister declared himself a "slave" of banned LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, stating, "Main Hafiz sahab ka ghulam hoon (I am servant of Hafiz Sir).
